As the result of my insomnia, I went blogwalking to night (or should I say this morning remembering it’s 4:15AM?) and found a horrible gossip about this movie.
This past Tuesday night, Cynthia Nixon let slip to an interviewer that in the upcoming Sex and the City movie, one of the characters dies. She refused to say which one, but New York magazine makes their predicitons.
Samantha: Potential cause of death: Breast cancer. It’s entirely possible that Samantha’s breast cancer could return, no matter how fabulous she is. We can also quite easily picture a scenario where usage of a sex swing goes awry. Too easily, in fact.
Why it might not happen: The gay audience would revolt.
Steve’s Mom: Potential cause of death: Alzheimer’s combined with general boringness. In the last few episodes, Anne Meara’s character was losing her memory and had developed a taste for wandering around the streets eating out of garbage cans. Plus, her character has kind of run its course. What’s she going to do if there’s a sequel? Take her pants off at Saks? Actually…
Why it might not happen: People live like that for years.
Mr. Big: Potential cause of death: Heart attack. Rumors of Big’s demise have been floating around the Internet since Noth told the Post, prior to the film’s actually getting made, that “In the Sex and the City movie that never happened, Mr. Big had a fatal heart attack and died.” Plus, as one commenter on Us magazine’s Website notes, “Carrie dyes her hair dark, so something tragic had to happen.”
Why it might not happen: And leave poor Carrie all alone again? Now that’s just cruel. Plus, Chris Noth told Extra there may be a sequel in the works.
I have waited for this movie for so long. U know, this is my most favorite TV Show and now they make it as a movie. Since the announcement of this show being a movie, I have waited for it with huge curiosity. So, the gossip above really discourage me from watching. Sigh! I just can’t imagine if one of the characters will die. Just please don’t do that!

bah..
segitu cintanya ya bu sama SATC, sampe ga rela meninggal satu tokoh pun. Hehe..
Namanya juga kopian dari dunia nyata bu, yah begitu jugalah alur cerita film. Nanti klu dibuat mereka hidup terus.. kan ga abis2 filmnya bu.
tapi.. hal yang sama juga terjadi kepada banyak penggemar Harry Potter, ketika Dumbledore meninggal.
(termasuk aku juga saat itu ga terima Dumbledore meninggal)

Segitunya… Katanya keluarnya Juni yah? Aku udah memaksa2 si Oli biar mau nemenin aku nonton di bisokop. Biarin aja dia ketiduran di situ. Yang penting aku nonton!!!! Tapi nggak seru banget, udah banyak banget bocoran beredar tentang SATC, misalnya si Big en Carrie menikah… Bahkan majalah Glamour edisi Prancis udah bikin artikel tentang baju2 yang dipake SJP dalam film ini… Bueeh… nggak seru lagi. Tapi teteuuup: harus nonton.
Walau begitu, setuju sih sama Un2, FRIENDS tetap nomor 1… Hidup Friends!!!
